It is the centre piece of The Big Tent Weekend and there to minimise the impact of our unpredictable British weather. It is BIG and can house up to 1,500 people seated and over 2,500 people standing although you will still be able to site outside and hear the music but if it is wet you can be dry and if it is blazing sunshine you can be shaded.
For Big Tent Tributes on Friday, sorry but children under 12 are not allowed and any person aged between 12 and 18 must be accompanied by an adult and will be given a special wristband on entry.
Absolutely. the show will go on even if it rains so, please dress appropriately if it looks like rain and please note that umbrellas are not allowed.
There will be no refunds if you choose not to attend or to leave during the concert because of poor weather.
The only circumstances which will cause any of the events to be cancelled is if weather conditions are dangerous (due to very high winds).
Yes you can but please read the Terms and Conditions carefully because there are restrictions on the type and quantity of alcohol that you can bring in and NO GLASS is permitted on the event site.
There is a bar and food sellers on site (check the website for details of what is on offer) and drinking water stations will be available to refill you non glass water bottle. Please make sure your water bottle is empty when you come in.
Yes you can. One foldable chair is permitted per person. Please be aware that, especially for Big Tent Tributes you may be asked to move your chair outside of the Big Tent as it will be predominantly standing only inside.
Please no parasols, sunshades, or picnic tables. We want everybody in the Big Tent to enjoy the view and these items can cause an obstruction and can be trip hazards later in the evening when it is getting dark.
Mainly yes. All food concessions and the bar are cashless but other stalls on Sunday may only accept cash.
Once you leave the venue you will not be allowed back in.
4 x sealed 500ml of beer, lager or cider
or
2 x 375ml cans of wine or 750ml of wine decanted into a non-glass container
or
2 x sealed 250ml cans of sport mixers (for example - gin and tonic)
No bottles of spirits, of any quantity will be allowed.
Any alcohol over these limits will be confiscated and disposed of and you will not be able to claim any financial loss as a result.
We have a policy that if you look under 25 years old we will ask you to provide proof of age. This can be by a photo driver’s licence or any accredited photo ID that includes your date of birth.
If you cannot prove your age then you will be issued with an under 18 wristband and will not be able to purchase alcohol from the bar of any of the concessions selling alcohol.
If you lose anything at the event, please talk to one of stewards or volunteers who will help you.
If you find anything, kindly hand it to one of our staff at the bar or the information point.
If you do lose anything an item and it has been found you can claim it from the information point or if later and within 21 days of the event by contacting us on info@ampthillbtw.co.uk Items remaining unclaimed after this date will be disposed of.
All tickets for the event are sent by email from our official ticket agents TryBooking. If you cannot find the email go to your TryBooking account online. Your tickets will need to be scanned at the entrance gate. Please make sure you have a valid ticket with you or entry will not be possible.

All types of BBQ
Chinese Lanterns
Drones
Fireworks or sparklers
Kites
Gas cylinders
Any glass containers or bottles
Weapons that are, or appear to be, offensive weapons
Metal knives, utensils and cutlery
Excess alcohol beyond the stated limits
Illegal substances or contraband goods
Anyone found in possession of illegal substances or contraband goods (including but limited to Prohibited Items) will be refused entry to or be ejected from the Event, will be reported to the police and may be liable for prosecution. Any items found that may be used in an illegal or offensive manner will be confiscated, regardless of whether or not the item is itself illegal.
